Containment first, conviction second
QuantTrail began with a decision about what not to trust. Belief is the cheapest input in this industry.
Intuition proposes. It does not decide. Conviction is abundant and priced accordingly. We chose to trust evidence: gathered slowly, tested adversarially, discarded without ceremony when it fails.
Most of what we build never touches capital. We consider that the system working. The letter on Folio 05 is the same argument at longer length.
